Focus on what's in your control.

 

Other people’s thoughts, feelings and actions are always out of your control. But, your thoughts, feelings and actions are always IN your control. 

 

Here’s how to use this information to make a good decision today. 

 

“I don’t want to visit my family but they’ll be mad if I don’t.” 

 

You can’t make your family happy, or unhappy. You are only in control of your  actions. You can go, or you can stay, but own that you have a choice and you get to decide. Which option feels best to YOU?  

 

“My kids expect too much and make me feel like a bad mom if I don’t get them everything on their list.”

 

Only you can make yourself feel like a bad mom. Take ownership of your options. You can either get everything, or not get everything, but own that you have a choice and that you can make a decision. Which option feels best to YOU?
