Being a Morning Person

Being a morning person is awesome. Not being a morning person is awesome.

Being an introvert is great. So is being an extrovert.

Making decisions quickly is perfect. Taking time to decide is also perfect.

Being a “detail person” is useful. Being a “big picture” person? Also useful.

You can’t go wrong being any of the above. The only time your natural personality is a problem is when you try to be something you aren’t.

Saying things like  “I need to be more of a morning person” or “I want to become a person who is great with details” insinuates that what you actually are is the “wrong” thing.

I’m a morning person, slight extrovert, quick deciding, big picture gal.

I’m never going to have my best energy in the afternoon. I need time alone. I might be quick to decide to take a last minute trip, but I’ll always forget at least one essential item when I pack.

None of those things are a problem. Things that require my best thinking will happen in the morning. I book my own hotel room even when other people are sharing. I buy or borrow whatever I’ve forgotten to pack. It’s not a big deal.

Embrace yourself! Being who you actually are is best.

When I coach my clients, they become MORE of who they really are and LESS of who they were trying to be. They become their most authentic, powerful selves. And some of them sleep late and don’t even feel bad about it. #winningatlife

Want to embrace who you really are, without guilt or shame? Set up a time to talk to me about 1 on 1 coaching here.

PS Seriously, I bought last minute tickets to the World Cup in France, but forgot the tickets. My sis and I were cruising on scooters to get to the game when I realized it. (Luckily, we still got to go!!)
