Stop Doing Stuff You Hate

Today, I challenge you to stop doing one thing that you don’t want to do or don’t want to make time for. Get out a pen and cross something right off your list. Think small!

⛔Stop matching the socks

⛔Stop rearranging the dishwasher after someone else has loaded it

⛔Stop caring about what your neighbor thinks (she’s probably not thinking about you anyway)

⛔Stop making your kid’s lunch if they can do it themselves

⛔Stop coordinating all of the social activities

⛔Stop working after 5 pm

⛔Stop checking your phone all night long - or even just for an hour

⛔Stop making dinner, even for just 1 night a week (my kids actually love this one, they love to make their own dinner. Win/win!)

⛔Stop walking your dog. (Don’t hate on me about this one, my dog has a fenced in yard to run in and she hates walks. Neither of us miss them.)

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, the key is to do less, not work harder and do more. You’ve probably spent your whole life achieving and working hard. At some point, the thrill of that wears off, and it just becomes overwhelming and stressful.

If you’re ready to feel true calm and enjoyment, while still being successful, I can help. I coach clients 1 on 1 and would love to talk to you. Here’s the link for a free one hour call.

PS Bonus points if you tell me what you’re no longer doing!
