Mother's Day
It’s almost Mother’s Day and you know what that means . . . time to ask for what you want! Think about how many asks you get in a single day from your family. This time, you do the requesting! Just check the boxes that apply to you and forward on to the parties who need to know.
Dear Family,
As you know, Mother’s Day is coming up on Sunday and there are a few things I’d absolutely love.
🔲 For you to make the plans for the day and surprise me! Anything is great.
🔲 No housework for the whole day. (Just for me. Everyone else can do it, though.)
🔲 To sleep in until I wake up on my own.
🔲 To get up early and take a nice walk all by myself while you make breakfast for me.
🔲 A mimosa and pancakes delivered to me in bed on a tray.
🔲 For you to make me a hand written/drawn card.
🔲 A pair of gold hoop earrings, I’ve included the link for your convenience.
🔲 For you to put away your phones for 2 solid hours and play a game with me.
🔲 An afternoon nap.
🔲 Flowers.
🔲 _______________ (fill in as needed)
Remember, hoping that someone will guess what you want to do for the day is a sure recipe to NOT get what you want.
PS If you’ve lost your mom, or you aren't a mom but wish you were, or are a birthmother who placed your baby for adoption, or a bonus mom or any kind of mom - you can spend this day in whatever day feels good for you, too. You might want to celebrate, or feel sad, or honor your choices in some way. Sending love for however you feel about Mother’s Day. 💗
