Review: Passion Planner

Ok people, I gotta tell you, this is my absolute favorite. I’ve used it for about 4 years. Every year, I look at other planners and have even bought others and tried to use them, but I always come back to the Passion Planner.

When I reviewed it last year, the ONLY con I could come up with was the design. It’s always been kinda, well, boring. But’s so darn useful that I got over it. (I just bought a cute monogram sticker for the front to make up for the blah design.) But, look at this!! Finally there is a cute color. this blush pink version is now as pretty as it is useful. It’s also slightly bigger than last year’s version, which I love.

I reviewed the dated yearly planner which I purchased from passionplanner.com for $35.

What’s to LOVE

Yearly: No - but it does have a one pager that lists all of the dates for the year.

Monthly: Yes

Weekly: Yes. The weekly page has a space and times for each day. Although it’s a weekly spread, there is room for a lot of daily detail.

Daily Planning: No - but the weekly spread has a column for each day so you can add daily appointments and the top priority for each day.

Unique & Special Features

Project Tracking: Yes. The Passion Planner encourages you to create goals and specify due dates for each step. You then write those steps on your monthly and weekly pages to ensure you are staying on track. I love that the to do list for work and personal are for the whole week, instead of just one day. I also LOVE the quotes on each week. They always seem to be just what I need at the time.

Monthly Review: Yes! If you use this planner and do the review monthly, you will get TONS of value out of this page.

Keep going on review here.

 Design:

As much as I love this planner, the design is the weakest point. The outside is a nice leather cover, but there is nothing exciting about it. The inside is very well designed. The pages have plenty of white space but include the essential items. There are no tabs to separate months, but it does have a built in bookmark ribbon so you can keep your place.

High Level Planning:
Passion Planner has great high level planning! There is a passion roadmap for mapping out your goals for life, 3 years, 1 year, and 3 months. From there you can break it down further and further until the steps hit your weekly planner. Each new month has space for a mind map of that month's game changer idea. As mentioned above, the monthly review is a huge life changer. If you take the time to reflect on how your month went, you can celebrate your wins and correct any areas you want to change. It also gives you plenty of opportunity (weekly and monthly) to reflect on gratitude.

Extra Feature(s):

Nothing exciting here, but I do appreciate the built in ribbon book mark, and that the blank notes pages are graph-style paper. I use that if I need to draw something.

Drawbacks/Cons: After careful consideration, the only cons I can come up with are the design. I much prefer the options and looks of the Emily Ley & Day Designer Planners.

Summary:
This is the perfect planner if you want more than a calendar. It helps you dream up big ideas and implement them. I highly recommend.
