Today, we’re going to wrap up with: 

4. What’s one thing you’d like to like to leave behind in 2020? 

There’s just one rule. It has to be in your control. Things that are in your control are: your own thoughts, beliefs, and actions. Things that are out of your control are: everything and everyone else. Things that don’t qualify as the thing you’d like to leave behind: 

  • The pandemic (Loophole: You can shift your thoughts to believe the vaccine will eventually end it). 

  • Your spouse’s annoying snoring habit. (Loophole: You CAN leave behind your thoughts about it being annoying!)   

Things that do qualify as the thing you’d like to leave behind: 

  • Your habit of overworking, over thinking, over eating, over drinking, over spending - any of the overs

  • Your need for validation from others 

  • Your fear of being alone, or being behind, or not being enough

  • Mom guilt 

  • Things that distract you from the present moment, such as your phone 

  • Your need to always be doing something productive.
