Summer Goals 4

Another week, another fun adventure!

Here’s our review on Adventure #4: Circus Flora, a 36 year old St. Louis tradition that was brand new to us.

Mom Rating: 10/10 (me), 10/10 (Kelli, my sister in law)
Kid Rating: 9/10 (Josie age 11), 10/10 (Oliver age 14), “really great” Brooklyn, age 3

Pros:

I was lukewarm about going to a circus, but you guys, IT WAS SO SUPER COOL! All 3 kids (bonus kid was my niece who is 3!) rated it 9/10 or 10/10.

The main actress is the woman from the show Severance! She was fantastic (in that show and in this show), but the performers were even more amazing. There were several families, like the Walendas, who performed. I mean a 10 year old acrobat flew through the air to be caught by his Dad. The Grandpa of the gang rode a bike on a tightrope.

This was good old fashioned family fun and we all loved it. If you want to do this adventure, act quickly! They have shows every night but it ends for this summer on Sunday.

Cons: None!

Tips:

• Bring cash if you want a pony ride.

• If you purchase in the first 3 rows, you’ll also get free drinks including soda, water, and wine/beer from the hospitality tent.

• Park on the street for free instead of in the lot.
