What to do to be “enough”

One morning in 2018, I woke up in a panic realizing I had “lost everything.”

No more husband.
No more big fancy house.
No more corporate job and the money that went with it.

I was suddenly without everything that had previously made me feel like I was worthy and  “enough.”

Who was I without all the job title, the “wife” title?

Well, I was who I’ve always been. Me. And that alone is enough.

Enoughness is separate from what you DO.
Enoughness isn’t based on a role you hold.
Enoughness is who you ARE.
You don’t have to strive more,
Or accomplish more,
Or be “more” anything.

PS I talk all about this topic and more on this episode of the Imperfection in Progress podcast. I was interviewed about being a single mom business owner and I share my thoughts on the mindset that allowed me to create a business while being a single mom.
