Where Progress Happens

đŸ‹ïž If you have a goal to gain more muscle, and are lifting weights consistently, you’re doing a great job moving in the right direction. When you’re on rep 9 of 12, you’ll want to quit because it’s so. dang. heavy. But you keep going right through the discomfort, because reps 10, 11, and 12 are where the progress happens. 

đŸ€ When you’re working on speaking up for yourself, and someone at work talks right over your idea, it would be easier to just be annoyed but say nothing. But sticking up for yourself and asserting your idea? That’s where the progress happens.

📅 When you’re sick of being overbooked and finally get your calendar organized, that’s such a great start on your goal. But when you decline that non-essential meeting that you feel like you “should” go to, that’s where the progress happens.
